Is it normal if white cracks occur in ABS filament?

The white spots are a normal occurrence in ABS filaments. They are caused by the bending of the material, the closer the filament is rolled, the more likely the white break points are. This can also be observed when you turn the filament slightly with your fingers.

But the whitening does not affect your print at all. It will no longer be seen afterwards for it will be lost when the material melts.
