This is a shell for the Turbo Everdrive flash cartridge for the TurboGrafx-16. I recently picked one of these carts up from Stone Age Gamer, and couldn't justify spending an extra $40 for a small piece of acrylic to cover the top. It looks pretty naked in the TG16 without a shell though, so I made this.
It has text built into the model, so it doesn't need a label. It has cutouts so you can access the PCE/TG16 switch and uSD slot, and has a small lever to press the reset button. The bottom is formed to rest on the PCB and chips, so it has a solid feel to it.
Simply print, press through the mounting holes, then use something to melt the plastic in the hole to hold it in place (I used an old soldering iron tip).
Attached is the STL file as I printed it, as well as the Sketchup design files. One is in the final form, and the other has the text still seperate, so it can easily be changed/removed (in case you want to label it with a sticker or something).
UPDATE: I recently got a dual extruder printer, so I decided to print the text in a different color to make it stand out a bit more. I think it came out looking pretty good (it was yellow ABS filament, but looks kinda green). I also added a small hole for the LED to shine through, and a couple other minor tweaks.
